The dblp team is located at the Schloss Dagstuhl branch offices on Campus II of the University in Trier, Germany. Trier is a town in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate with an approximate population of 110,000, located in the very west of Germany, close to the borders of Luxembourg, Belgium and France, and just about 50km to the north of Schloss Dagstuhl. Trier has a very rich history and is known to be Germany's oldest city, founded by the Romans sometime between 18 B.C. and 16 B.C..
