This is a short and easy to read. It paper provides an intuitive introduction to the relationship between replication and mobility in the cellular architecture. The first question is where in the cellular architecture to allocate/replicate the record that associates a mobile terminal with a particular cell. The second question is where to locate data items that are read and written by mobile terminals. The paper discusses alternatives at the intuitive level, but very rudimentary analysis.
